We have a high number of children on the SEND register with complex needs and have decided to focus on this group of children with the aim of enabling them to make accelerated progress. After discussion, we decided our area would be targets for English. We made this more specific by focusing on individual spoken language targets for our SEND children. We will be discovering which strategies are the most effective in supporting these children.
