Carol of the Bells [Lyrics]

Hark to the bells, high sounding bells,
Joyful they sing, ‘Born is the King!’
Oh how they chime, sound with a rhyme,
Be of good cheer, Christmas is here!

Singing their song, ding, ding-a dong!
This is the day; come, come away!
Now everywhere, all through the air;
Ring, silver bells, sing silver bells!

Hear how they pound, hear how they sound!
Telling the tale o’er hill and vale:
Come, one and all, answer the call!
Come, come and sing, ‘Born is the King!’

Join the joyous Christmas celebration!
Join the folks of every nation!
Endless the song lives on and on:
‘Born is the King! Born is the King!’

Hark to the bells, high sounding bells,
Good news they bring! Let the heavens ring!
Born is the King!’

O Holy Night [Lyrics]

O Holy Night!
The stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth;
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees,
Oh, hear the angels voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night divine! O night divine!

V2
Led by the light of faith serenely beaming,
With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand;
So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Now came the wise men from Orient land.
The King of kings lay thus in lowly manger,
In all our trials born to be our Friend;
He knows our need,
Our weakness is no stranger.
Behold your King, before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King, before Him lowly bend!

V3
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains shall He break, for the slave is our brother,
And in His name all oppression shall cease.
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,
With all our hearts we praise His holy name.
Christ is the Lord,
Then ever, ever praise we!
His pow’r and glory evermore proclaim!
His pow’r and glory evermore proclaim!

Mary’s Boy Child

Long time ago in Bethlehem, so the Holy Bible say
Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas Day.

Hark, now hear the angels sing, a new king born today,
And we may live for evermore, because of Christmas Day.
Trumpets sound and angels sing,
Listen to what they say.
And we may live for evermore, because of Christmas Day.

While shepherds watch their flocks by night
they see a bright new shining star,
they hear a choir sing, the music seemed to come from afar.

Now Joseph and his wife, Mary, came to Bethlehem that night,
She had no place to bear her child, not a single room was in sight.

Hark, now hear the angels sing, a new king born today,
And we may live for evermore, because of Christmas Day.
Trumpets sound and angels sing,
Listen to what they say.
And we may live for evermore, because of Christmas Day.

By and by they found a little nook in a stable all forlorn
and in a manger cold and dark, Mary’s little boy was born.
Long time ago in Bethlehem, so the Holy Bible say
Mary’s boy child Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas Day.

Hark, now hear the angels sing, a king was born today
And we may live for evermore, because of Christmas Day.
Trumpets sound and angels sing,
Listen to what they say
And we may live for evermore, because of Christmas Day.
Because of Christmas Day.

It's the most wonderful time...

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
With the kids jingle belling
And everyone telling you “Be of good cheer”
It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
It’s the hap,-happiest season of all
With those holiday greetings and bright happy meetings
When friends come to call.
It’s the hap,- happiest season of all

There’ll be parties for hosting,
Marshmallows for toasting
And carolling out in the snow.
And there’ll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Christmases long, long ago.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
There’ll be much misteltoeing
And hearts will be glowing
When love ones are near.
It’s the most wonderful time
It’s the most wonderful time
It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

Let it snow

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we’ve no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

It doesn’t show signs of stopping,
I’ve bought some corn for popping!
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I’ll hate going out in the storm,
But if you’ll really hold me tight,
All the way home I’ll be warm.

The fire is slowly dying ,
And, my dear, we’re , still-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let it snow ,let it snow, let it snow!

Snow!

Silent and still, the winter’s night
Flickering dots of candlelight
Slowly on to the town below.
Comes the softly falling snow.

Over each roof and field and tree,
Carpet of white, wide as can be,
Lends the earth a new glow
Does the softly falling snow.

Dawn light breaks out of my bed,
Fireworks roaring through my head,
Stockings laid out in array,
Yes ‘tis Christmas, Christmas Day!

Step on to the silent street,
Crunch of ground beneath my feet,
Bringer of peace, more than we know,
Is that softly falling snow.——
