Today, years 3 and 4 gathered to discuss the range of success criteria strategies that we have been using in the classroom.

Year 3 has found that breaking the SC into smaller steps for focus 5 children has had a positive affect on the children’s outcomes as the SC is much more catered to those children’s specific learning needs.

Year 4 introduced the success ladder in which children have been able to more actively relate to their steps to success. The children understand that the success ladder are the tasks that need to complete in order to meet the learning objective.

In comparison to our baseline, both year groups are far more aware of the relevance of the success criteria and how best to use it in their learning.
